The True Leadership Treasure

I went on search to be a leader,
Searching high and low above the meter,

There is one song that I can't forget.

When I was thirteen, I don't understand the lyric.

When I was fourteen, I don't understand why we need to sing it every Monday.

When I was fifteen, I slowly found that the rhythm makes me feels good and proud.

When I was sixteen, I sang it loud and clear once I hear the music play.

When I was seventeen, I know that will not be my last time singing that song.

After years have pass, when I come back to a moment of high school nostalgia

I finally know the meaning of the song.

It's not about the words and phrases in the song, but it's the past events that come together with the song. 

The song has it own definition for everyone, even though the lyric is the same.

The song did not repeat itself every Monday, but the song actually makes itself the theme song of the week. 

The song did not meant to be easily sung, but it meant to makes you felt easy when you sing.

"When will it be the last time I’ll sing it?" The answer is “Never."

There is not a single flavour absence in the song.  

There are too much memories lays behind the song. 

And not to forget the rest of St John's spirits.

When we were five, they asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. 
Our answers were things like astronaut, president... or in my case, a prince.
When we were ten, they asked again, and we answered, rock star, adventurer, or in my case a baron. 
But now that we've grown up, they want a serious answer.

This isn't the time to make hard and fast decision, this is the time to make mistakes.

Major in philosophy, because there's no way to make a career out of that.

Attitude is like posing for pictures.
We pose the way we want to be seen by others.
But stolen shots are better because it capture who we really are.

Heroes

Is that what happens to heroes?

No time for friends?

Only their enemies leave roses.

Violent lives ending violently.

There’s a joke;

Man goes to doctor, says he’s depressed. 

Life seems harsh and cruel. 

Says he feels all alone in threatening world. 

Doctor says treatment is simple. “The great clown Pagliacci is in town. Go see him. That should pick you up.” 

Man bursts into tears. 

“But doctor,” he says. “I am Pagliacci.” 

I want my money back.

I was so stupid all these while. I have been blinded by glitters at the surface of this true and lovely world. I have been blindly following the flux of the blinds. As I try to go deeper into the glitters sea, I've heard more and more whisper that I never bother to know where it came from. I was a selfish diver that never knows the amount of oxygen that left in my tank. But at this moment, there are no more clouds but only a beautiful starry night. It is an amazing natural phenomenon; stars at that piece of darkness have arranged in such an order that pointing to the right path.

I have finally got enlightened.

Thank you my lord for the stars.

At least I’ve got an indication now, I should have known my way to the right path of the world. But somehow, to be confident enough to decide my turning junction, I will still need to tilt up my head and refer to you again. I know I can’t have good night all the time without clouds and thunderstorm; natural obstacle that blocks me from seeing you. I know I will need to sharpen my navigation sense and skill when you are not around. And I should have been doing that when I can still see you.

Tonight I'm lying on the surface of that piece of glitters bed; I'm looking at the night sky and those few shiny starts that I’m familiar with. Those glitters are lying behind me now; to my shiny stars I just want you to know I will not let those glitters blind me from seeing you again.

Good night, my shiny stars. I don't see you when the sun comes up, but I'll make sure I will wait you at the dusk.

It's about passion, it's about making yourself great.

How to make your company great, it’s just the same as how to make your club, your council great. Because they are the same, which is: there are peoples behind that running it, not alien. We all want to be proud of the school we go to, we all want to be proud of the clubs we joined; we all want to be proud of the company we work for.

It enhance our reputation, make us looks great, feels great and give us access to meet great person.

Clubs, school, company with enchanting reputation is one of the factor that making majority peoples wanted to join and wanted to work for them. If you got the chance to join them, you’re probably joining them for what they can do for you. But one thing, not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to work for the outfit that is currently favored.

Not everyone that in the council is an idiot. Ask yourself, what are you personally going to do to make your council an awesome one.

Start by talking it up. Begin thinking and behaving like a winner. It will stop the rot. It will temporary halt the negative thought and a defeatist attitude.

Please, if you find people talking it down or being pessimist, take issue with them, tell others about them. If it persists, get them out of your family. Because we got no time to change their thought.

Then people will soon get the idea.

Don’t’ expect the senior to lead you the way. They are just too busy running their own plan. Start setting your own goal now!

You, yourself decide to make your own family great or at least tell yourself you are going to make a difference.

Just please realize that the family reputation are just build on one or two person’s victory. Aim to be that person.

Just want to let you know that, you’re on your own. JUST DO IT WITH PASSION.

Have you ever thought of flying in a private jet? Well, that’s what i always dream of.

Back to those days when i was still a kid. I always wanted to become a pilot, just like most of the guys will fill up their essays with “ i want to become a pilot in the future”. I thought of flying the fastest jet or maybe cruising on the fastest jet. But as time passes, dreams are still remain as dreams and reality always keeps me sticks back on the ground.

Today, i found that people living on earth should always dare to dream! And dream BIG! There’s nothing wrong with that.

When i talk to my family that how i wanted to achieve in 10 years, and 20 years time, they always put off my dream dastardly, and tell me get back to study. Does that go same to you? :D well, till today i’m still yet to get near to any field that related to aircraft. But yet, the spirit is still there.

Few days back, my sis brought back an aircraft magazine, which is all about civil aircraft. It might not be so interesting compare to military aviation, but still I LIKE AIRCRAFT.

Now i actually thought of buying and own a jet more than flying a jet. If you were a pilot, you can actually predict maybe you can earn 10 grand per month or slight better than that, but did you ever thought of becoming someone who are sitting behind the cockpit? Well, flying a jet it might be interesting which you actually can fly an airplane with this screen:

Well, they call this the synthetic vision-primary flight display. Looks cool huh...

There’s a lot of stuff i wanted to achieve, but if i would really do well in my current course, one day i might be able to join the aircraft company, since machines nowadays are computerise.

Alright, i take myself as an engineering background here. When come to engines, i can’t really imagine how an aircraft engine being designed to be so powerful. Some military-heavy- aircraft which have 8 engines and 4 at each side, even though 7 engines are down but they are still able to stay in the air for quite some time before an emergency touchdown.

Well, this is it! If i would own a private jet! This will be the one!

If would like to compare a Rolls-Royce with this, let’s take a guess how much is the price difference, since the soul of both the machines are the same, which still from the Rolls-Royce company.

Well, the Gulfstream got 2 Rolls-Royce engine, but it cost at least 20 times more than a Rolls-Royce phantom. :P

Further than that, just try to sum it up the price, if it charges 5k per night for parking in the airport, and including maintenance. LOL.... you got no idea how much you gonna earn, enable to own a jet.
